Today on the blog I am starting a new feature, Interview Wednesday. All us kidlit bloggers have interviewed many authors and illustrators. Please post a small description and a link to your interview.
In honor of the announcement of the 2009 Newbery prize, I am posting an encore interview with Newbery Honor winner Gennifer Choldenko. The sequel to her honor book Al Capone Does My Shirts was just released, Al Capone Shines My Shoes is fabulous, here's the link http://www.tinanicholscouryblog.com/2007/12/gennifer-cholde.html#more
What a great idea for a feature. This week I posted part 1 of an interview with Spencer Quinn - bestselling author of the newly released, Thereby Hangs A Tail, written from the POV of Chet the Dog, and - as Peter Abrahams - author of the YA novel Reality Check, which just got nominated for an Edgar.

What fun! Can I still post this even though now it's Thursday? This is the interview I did with Kathe Pinchuck, chair of the Sydney Taylor Book Award Committee, about the 2010 award winning titles. The award is for Jewish kidlit. The podcast interview is at http://jewishbooks.blogspot.com/2010/01/big-reveal-2010-sydney-taylor-book.html.

Great idea for a feature!
Although I am a kidlit blogger, this interview isn't posted on any of my blogs; and the author I've interviewed is not a KidLit author, but a critic....is it all right if I post it? If not, please just delete my comment. The interview is with "Hogwarts Professor" John Granger and appeared in print several years ago.
