I first heard Ann Whitford Paul speak at an SCBWI National Conference in the early 90's. Over the years, I have attended many workshops where she has spoken and I have had the pleasure of getting to know her. Ann is funny, kind and knowledgeable. I was delighted to hear she had written a "How To" book on writing a picture book. I am pleased to have produced the book trailer for Writing Picture Books.
Just finished Ann's new writing book, Writing Picture Books,---and discovered it's not only for picture book writers. All writers of children's literature will benefit from her advice and tips. I like the activities at the end of each chapter where Ann makes sure you get what she covered. The chapter, "Making Music With Your Prose", was an eye-opener. This book is a GEM!

Hi Tina,
Nicely done! Ann's doing a blog tour this month and I'll be hosting her (and her book) at Finders and Keepers. Small world, huh?

Tina, your artistic talents draw people into the book trailer you created for Ann Whitford Paul. I will definitely check out her book next time I go to the bookstore.
