I am a golfer This is pretty amazing since I was the kid who always got picked last for any sport, right after the nerd and the kid with a leg brace.
Klutz, clod and lame-o...that's me. But my hubby wanted it so badly that I reluctantly agreed to try, knowing full well that I was sports challenged with the grace of an elephant on roller-skates. But as an artist I was enchanted by the landscape and harmony of a course.
Well, with lots of encouragement and a great desire to please, I took to it like, as they say, a duck to water. The last kid to be picked, is suddenly one of the first to be asked to play for our ladies golf team! Like every thing in my life, it morphed into my work. I was lucky enough to play the Riviera a few times. This great course hosts the L.A. Open. This is a giant wall size painting of the 9th hole of the Riveria Country Club. A wonderful course with wicked, wicked rough.
